Interested in joining Troop 1? Boy Scouts is for all boys ages 11-17 (Grades 5-12). Feel free to drop by and watch a troop meeting. We meet on Monday nights at 7:00 at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Tulsa.

Trade O Ree

March 12th & 13th is the Tulsa “T-Town” Trade-o-ree, a Boy Scout Memorabilia Show.

At a Trade-0-Ree you can buy, sell, and trade scouting patches and other Memorabilia.

There will be patches, uniforms, calendars, old books, pins, knives and many other scouting treasures   It is also a great place to purchase a unique gift for, Eagle Scout, husband, wife, Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, or that special Scouter.  Scouts working on collections merit badge can see how collections are displayed and talk to collecting experts.

There will be a free “Limited Edition TaTsuHwa patch” for the first 250 Scout/Scouters.  There will also be an auction on Saturday in which all the proceed will go to our Lodge.

The admission is FREE. Please pass the word out to all to come out and see 100 years of Scouting history.

For scouts looking for a leadership position, fill out the Scout Leadership Application and turn it in to Ernie, our new SPL or to Mr Hart.

Computer Merit Badge

The Computer Merit Badge will be taught by Mr Stapleton at his house (3227 s Winston ave apt 207) February 27th from 12-3pm. This is an excellent opportunity for the Scouts to learn how computers work and how to be safe online.

Scouts wanting to take the Merit Badge need to log into the Troop 1 website and register online for the class  and do 2 - 6 on the Merit Badge Worksheet. All information needed for the worksheet can be found on the "Computer Skills" section of the Troop 1 website.

Mt Dew and Doritos, the traditional food of computer programmers, will be provided.

Hopefully you have received your invitation to the special dinner honoring our Troops 100th anniversary on Thursday March 11th at 6:00pm.

If your son is an active Troop 1  Scout , and wears his official uniform to the dinner, his ticket is free! (shirt must be tucked in)

When you rsvp to the Anniversary Dinner, please indicate how many Active Scouts you will be bringing. We need to be sure to reserve them a seat.
